What better way to celebrate than to give your child or grandchild the gift of music?

Music lessons have been proven to boost brain development.   Plua all the social emotional learning skills crucial for success in life.

We recommend 2 lessons to gauge a child’s interest, enthusiasm.  The time allows us to build rapport between the teacher and student.

This gift if perfect for any child who has expressed an interest in music and is

  • at least 3 1/2 or 4 years of age
  • can spell their name aloud
  • can focus for at least 10 minutes at a time
  • can say the alphabet from A to Z

Prerequisite:  You will need an instrument in your home.  We recommend all students begin with piano/keyboard and then later branch out to other instruments.

Here’s our recommended instruments.

The recipient will need to call us to schedule and book the 2 lessons by calling 347-788-0101.

You must live in Park Slope or surrounding neighborhoods of Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Sunset Park, Ditmas/Kensington, Fort Greene, Windsor Terrace and Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.

Andrew Ingkavet is an educator, author and owner of Park Slope Music Lessons. He created the Musicolor Method®, a proven curriculum to teach children music with simplicity, ease and fun. In the early 90's, Andrew was a VJ for MTV-Asia with a daily audience of millions.
